Farewell UBC.

After  5 long, unforgettable, life-changing years of our lives, it was finally time for us to say goodbye. It was our graduation. For half a decade, UBC was almost like a second home, as much as we hated it at times. I think a lot of times we easily take things that are in front of us for granted (especially during exam season). I had always heard about how beautiful and nice the campus was and though I’d always agree, I feel like I said it without really appreciating it.

As I moved on to the “real world”, I came to realize how fortunate I was to attend this university, be a part of the family, and learn from some of the most brilliant minds in Vancouver.

So on the last days, we made sure we got a chance to walk around and enjoy it one last time.

At the time, Sauder had these green chairs and tables placed outside and they made for some really interesting shots.

It’s time to say goodbye, but I think goodbyes are sad and I’d much rather say hello. Hello to a new adventure. – Ernie Harwell

  1. I graduated from UBC in 2014 and as much as I was eager to be done at the time, I really do miss school and campus! I made life-long friendships and experienced some really cool things. I was pretty involved in various campus activities but I wish I did more! There are so many clubs that I wished I joined when I was a student… maybe I just need to go back for more school 🙂
